Hi, I'm Joanne - a 2021 Fashion Design graduate (specialising in menswear) from the University of Leeds. My first concept incorporates print inspired by butterfly macro photographs and silhouette derived from butterfly wing structures. My other concepts have been inspired by the 1940’s. One exploring WW2 aviation artefacts and the other looking at images taken throughout the decade by amateur photographer Charles W Cushman - focusing on his documentation of dark florals and architecture.
