My collections started as a lockdown-boredom project, thinking about the bizarre format of interacting through little pixelated boxes. I started to visit chat sites such as Omegle and Chatroulette, exploring the idea of webcam footage as a source of Research for portraiture and wider themes for my work. I’m interested in how this anonymous format allows us to present ourselves. And, as we retreat further into the online sphere, how this will impact our day-to-day interactions.
