I enjoy a utilitarian aesthetic in my Design work and believe garments should be built to last. Material choice is hugely important to me and I feel that the design process should be centred around consideration for the impact the fashion industry has on our planet and resources. Circular design methods, such as zero waste pattern cutting and designing waste back into a collection, are tools we can use to combat our impact, and with every project my goal is to ingrain these processes more.
