Maha Yahya is a fashion mixed media designer and maker whose work centres around an intense exploration of handcraft and a sustainably minded, upcycled ethos. Maha’s Graduate Collection, The Decorated Man, takes inspiration from her Bedouin heritage. Challenging traditional gender roles, menswear accessory-garments are adorned with a richness of colour and texture, through hand printing, weaving and embroidery, all made from discarded or donated materials that otherwise would have gone to waste.
