The Quest for Self Expression

As a designer I push the boundaries of pattern cutting to explore different garment possibilities and exhibit what is already there. My love of garments, art and film help me to widen my creativity to produce work that does not just belong in the fashion world but in a conceptual one. My aesthetic has always stemmed from my love of Japanese culture, artisan, unusual materials, and rebellious concepts. I make to create meta and deep conceptual pieces that challenge fashion design. I like my pieces to be admired for their craft and originality. My work represents misunderstanding and exhibiting using the body as a platform. While discovering my own style I found simple ways of making clothing unique, experimental and new each time. The garments are made to experiment with, to enjoy for their individuality, and to explore multiway dressing.
