Wingyee Chan is a graduate student who specialises in fashion design. her research comes from a wide range of different cultural aspects, and she would like to depict diversity through her designs. During her studies at The University of Salford she has been shortlisted in the Goldsmith Vintage Alter-eco up-cycling competition and The Artsthread/Pentland Churchill Wardrobe competition. Wingyee' s interests in fashion started when she studied textiles design in high school which led her to studying fashion design and textiles in college. This helped her develop more knowledge in fashion and so she continued to pursue fashion design to improve everything she had learnt in the past and also explore other chances of working in the fashion industry.
