I am a womenswear designer influenced by the current wave of conscious spiritual wakening. This current collection has been directly influenced by the findings of Dr Yellen, who illustrates that fabrics have different frequencies, which aid/hinder mood and wellbeing, depending on whether they are natural or synthetic. My goal is to help bring awareness to clothing and its role in healing our society. The collection features 100% natural, renewable and biodegradable fabrics - including pineapple leather and merino wool. Shapes have been inspired by frequencies waves, healing symbols (such as The Caduceus), and other ancient ritual symbols such as a Maori fishhook that I was given at birth, which signifies abundance and plenty, strength, and determination. It is believed to bring peace, prosperity and good health.
