We're All Mad Here

Beth Moore is an aspiring Womenswear designer with an aim to also gain experience within fashion buying. Although Moore is most confident in womenswear she also has lots of other experience. These other projects have included live briefs, an array of self-directed projects including her graduate collection and menswear collections which have covered ready-to-wear, luxury and sportswear “We’re All Mad Here” is a graduate collection by Beth Moore inspired by a child’s curious struggle to understand the confusing world of an adult, specifically focusing on the escapism of everyday life, as seen in Lewis Carroll’s Adventures in Wonderland. With a focus on the themes of fantasy that are presented both within the novels and the movies, Moore presents a collection that is full of creativity and imagination. Further themes of childhood innocence and escapism are explored, as well as coming of age inspired by Alice as she attempts to manage inner conflicts, such as her identity.
