Yani is a Portuguese English designer. She’s an active person who predominantly works with sportwear, specialising in pattern cutting and sustainability. Her final collection “Catching Wind” encompasses these different aspects of her life into one final university project. Sustainability has been a key element of her design work, focusing on the upcycling of extreme sport, kitesurfing’s fabric in this project. Her aim is to make colourful, energetic pieces that lift the spirit of the wearer.
