TOUR OF TOMORROW

Olivia Dent is a womenswear designer, originally from Carlisle, Cumbria; who specializes in print design and creative pattern cutting. A key influence within her work comes from films that fit the aesthetic of film noir and retro futurism. This initially delves from her interest in fiction over fact and the escapism element of science fiction films, allowing her to create bold graphic prints inspired by the set design and colour imagery of film. As well as statement prints, tailoring and strong silhouettes are always present within Olivia’s work, giving her designs functionality but also a base that fuses print and silhouette together.
