Freefall is an autumn/winter collection which explores how repurposed materials can create a contemporary graduate collection. Parachutes have a 25-year usage period once this period is up the parachutes are disposed of and technical fabric is wasted. This collection combines the realms of sportswear and knit whilst incorporating technical fabrics mostly brought from deadstock fabric suppliers. This collection gained yarn sponsorships from Sesia, Toscano, Lineapiú and Zenga Baruffa allowing beautiful and modern knitwear to be at the forefront of each look. Freefall plays on the layering of contrasting textured fabrics creating an interesting and colourful fabric story from mohair to glossy technical each look is unique whilst referencing the sport of skydiving throughout.
