A WORLD OF MY OWN

My name is Jiao Xie borned in China. I graduated National Diploma in Foundation Studies at Cambridge School of Visual and Performing Arts with distinction grade in 2016, and currently in my final year majoring in BA fashion design at University of Westminster. I interned at two Chinese individual designer brands- XUZHI and 8ON8, and started working as a designer assistant for 8ON8 in October 2020. I personally think clothing is a language. For each of my projects during my undergraduate studies, I use garments as a carrier to convey different female images, integrate each woman's experience and her own story into the garments and use each female image as an incarnation of romantic expression to complete a series of Narrative Design.
