I am the Stranger

I am currently in my Final year of Fashion Knitwear Design and Knitted Textiles at Nottingham Trent University. Currently, I am preparing for my graduation collection under the theme of my situation and emotional feelings, such as anger, anxiety and loneliness due to living in England as a minority. While studying in England, I have had many difficult moments of loneliness and depression, but whenever I use knitwear to express my inner melancholy through art, I enjoy it, and it feels as if I have entered a different world. I hate the words "I don't think I can do it" the most. My determined character means that when I want to do a project that seems impossible at times, I try to make it possible by putting all my energy and passion into my work every moment of the day. For me, knit is a material that energises me, and I will do my best to make my work a success.
