‘I’m still here’ is a love letter to Waterlooville Precinct, a small Highstreet near Portsmouth, where I grew up. It is a deteriorating shopping area where premises have remained uninhabited for the last ten years. Growing up, it felt very isolating as there was nothing to do, especially regarding culture and creativity. Now looking back, I can see that Waterlooville served a purpose creatively and has helped with my design aesthetic today.
