The Other World (Graduate Collection)

Ivan combines colourful print and knit designs with Zero-Waste pattern cutting to create contemporary menswear. He comes from a small village, Höganäs, in Southern Sweden and studied fashion design in London at Ravensbourne University 2019-2021. He is currently based in London, UK and in Sweden. “My graduate collection is about looking at the colourful and playful world of old MMORPG and fantasy videogames through the lens of my childhood nostalgia. Zero-Waste pattern cutting is something I am passionate about and have been studying and practising for 2 years now, I also wrote my dissertation on the subject and it has become the focal pillar of sustainability in my making process.” Ivan’s work was featured on this year’s Digital Fashion Week New York, where he delved into his personal process of mixing digital and IRL techniques to create unique designs and presentation.
