Fashion Design graduate from Sheffield Hallam University particularly interested in womenswear and knitwear. My graduate collection was inspired by a trip I had on a canal boat. I found living at such a slow pace compared to our usually very busy lives extremely interesting and calming. This then lead me to research into the 'Idle Women' who worked on these canal boats during the war. I wanted to give these hard - working women the recognition they deserved through my project, which they did not receive at the time.
