FUBAR

I'm a fashion graduate specialising in Menswear. 'Fubar' (a military term meaning 'F***ed Up Beyond All Recognition') is a collection informed by deconstructing and repurposing military equipment and sportswear (parachutes, tents, kit bags and football tops). It takes aspects of traditional, utilitarian menswear and applies innovative pattern-cutting techniques, highlighting functionality and adjustability. Silhouettes are taken from drone shots of military bases and terrain maps. The collection is designed to be flat-laying but distort and become voluminous when worn.
