Solo Traveller

This collection is inspired by 90’s fashion combined with women’s travel attire through history. Bringing the layers, oversized aspect and accessories from the idea of always being on the move and living out of a suitcase, inspired by my childhood. I explored traditional corsetry looking at the handmade, make don’t make method to this collection can be made from my bedroom instead of relying on modern technology. This collection looks back in history at traditional craftsmanship’s used in the fashion industry before the high demand and fast pace of the industry that we see today. It is very important to me to design an environmentally conscious collection, where I can I will be using unwanted yarns that would be otherwise be going to waste and upcycling materials
