This collection is an exploration of outdoor dress. A celebration of the ‘Ordinary Uniform’. Since outdoor clothing traditionally has a masculine un-gendered silhouette, my goal was to challenge this with hyper-feminine elements, both traditional and modern. I have been influenced by 18th century female explorers as well as modern day climber Emily Harrington.
