I want women to be both feared and desired, brutally elegant and divinely violent, powerful women. I never find pleasure in creating just a ‘beautiful’ dress. Rather, I fail fearlessly, because perfection is an unrealistic ideal that we force ourselves to aspire to be. It’s the process of play within drape that I fell in love with. To create garments that transport you from reality. ‘Broken doll city’ is the abnormal, imperfect and ugly things of human nature that I find so beautiful.
