Whimsi

I view fashion design the same way as I view creating art, I find it fascinating to put colours, textures and different proportions together to create an overall look, I see myself as a sculptor as it feels similar to creating a life size sculpture in cloth and textiles. I have always been intrigued and inspired by the amazing work of Basquiat and this collection is no exception. The collection is non gender specific and starting with second-hand clothes from charity shops I have joined items, hand-painted, stitched, quilted and beaded my artworks and characters onto these garments to create what I consider one-off besboke pieces of collectable art.
