On Monday 4th December, The Fashion Awards 2023 Presented by Pandora took place, returning to the iconic London venue of The Royal Albert Hall.
The Fashion Awards Presented by Pandora brings together a global community in London, the home of fashion creativity, to amplify leaders of change, celebrate excellence in creativity and support the next generation of creative talent. The event serves our largest fundraiser for the BFC Foundation, which supports the future growth and success of the British fashion industry through its focus on education, grant-giving, and business mentoring.
It was great to see so many of our BFC Foundation Patrons there to support, thank you. Your continued unwavering, loyal and energic commitment to the Foundation Patron Programme, is so thoroughly appreciated from everyone here in the BFC Community.
The evening, hosted by British broadcaster Maya Jama and musical artist Kojey Radical, celebrated 16 awards. TFA nominees and winners are voted for by an international judging panel made up of over 1000 industry experts.
This year’s BFC Foundation Designer Award, which recognises a BFC Foundation initiative designer who has had a major impact on global fashion over the past year, went to Conner Ives (Presented by: Dan Levy). The shortlist of BFC Foundation Award Designers were AARON ESH, Chet Lo, Paolo Carzana and Sinéad O'Dwyer
As you all agree, we have a duty to support the younger generation, keep them inspired and motivate them to know that there is a future in creativity. The Fashion Awards is a fundraiser for the BFC Foundation and focuses on celebrating excellence in the fashion industry and supporting the future pipeline of creative talent. Never before has there been more need for this support.
