After another busy and brilliant year of BFC Foundation Patron events, our close-knit community gathered one final time in 2023, this time to celebrate Emilia Wickstead at her beautiful flagship store on Sloane Street.
Hosted by our BFC Foundation Co-Chairs, Tania Fares and Narmina Marandi, as well as Chief Business Officer at Conde Nast, Vanessa Kingori OBE, BFC Foundation patrons enjoyed Ruinart champagne and dirty martinis and dinner by Casa Cruz, whilst a live jazz band played.
Emilia was the recipient of the BFC Foundation initiative, Fashion Trust, for the first time in 2013, receiving the grant a further three times to help grow her business into what it is today.
In her speech, Emilia said, “It is thanks to the support of Fashion Trust and to our loyal patrons of the charity that helped me establish where I am today, I am so grateful to have such a strong community around me, especially my business partner Narmina Marandi and to Tania Fares, who both champion British design, talent and business so resolutely and continually not only here in London but to a global audience too. Thank you”
