The BFC Foundation hosts 'A Night at The Design Museum'

17 January 2024

On Monday 15th January, the BFC Foundation held a private event at The Design Museum to mark the final month of the REBEL: 30 Years of London Fashion Exhibition, sponsored by Alexander McQueen, and to shine a spotlight on a new year of fundraising ambitions for the charity. Guests were joined by Gianfilippo Testa, CEO Alexander McQueen, Narmina Marandi, Co-Chair of The BFC Foundation, Tim Marlow, Director and CEO of The Design Museum and Caroline Rush, CEO British Fashion Council.

The Foundation will continue to highlight, champion and support the next generation of fashion design and talent into 2024 and beyond.

Thank you to Guest Curator, Sarah Mower and long-term friend and collaborator of Lee McQueen, Simon Ungless, for an illuminating conversation on the past, present and future of fashion: focussing ideas on the richness of experiencing culture as a form inspiration rather than via social media, the road to responsible business and the problems surrounding the word ‘scaling’.
