The fashion industry were out in force for Hilary: brands, retailers, designers, friends, journalists, stylists, commentators, PRs, agents, models and musicians all gathered to toast her success. Harold Tillman CBE opened the speeches describing her as "The heart of London Fashion Week and an inspiration to young journalists". Suzy Menkes followed with a heartfelt and witty speech, as well as presenting a photo diary capturing Hilary with the many designers she has supported over the years. Tony Gallagher, Editor of The Telegraph, introduced a short film in celebration of Hilary and her inspirational career, complete with quotes from colleagues and friends including Sir Philip Green, Claudia Schiffer and Stephen Lock and a specially commissioned animation of Hilary.
