BFC Fashion Trust

The BFC Fashion Trust empowers business growth by funding specific projects through financial grants and mentoring. Open to all ready-to-wear collections and/or accessories and millinery, the grant supports a defined project delivered within a set period of time. Applicants must show how the project aligns with their broader business vision and the return on investment it will deliver. Recipients receive a grant of up to £50,000, business mentoring and pro-bono legal services from Winston Taylor.

The 2026 recipients are CLIO PEPPIATT | CONNER IVES | NICHOLAS DALEY | PAOLO CARZANA | PATRICK MCDOWELL | TOLU COKER.

Since its inception in 2011, the BFC Fashion Trust has awarded over £3 million to 62 designer businesses, funding practical projects and long-term strategic plans in areas such as merchandising, e-commerce, production and sampling. Previous recipients include CHOPOVA LOWENA, DAVID KOMA, EDELINE LEE, EMILIA WICKSTEAD, ERDEM, MARY KATRANTZOU, REJINA PYO, ROKSANDA, SOPHIA WEBSTER, TOVE and WALES BONNER.

Thank you to our BFC Fashion Trust legal partner, Winston Taylor, for their continued support providing pro-bono legal services to recipients, and to Zedonk.

The recipients of the BFC Fashion Trust receive a grant through the BFC Foundation (Registered Charity Number: 1185152). Established in 2019, the BFC Foundation underpins the UK's creative pipeline, supporting creatives from education through to global business growth via its Prizes and Programmes. Collectively, this work positions British fashion as a driver of the UK's creative economy and a force in global cultural influence. Each recipient signs a grant agreement with the BFC Foundation, which includes a Code of Conduct and a requirement to provide key information for future impact reporting.
