BRITISH FASHION COUNCIL FOUNDATION UNVEILS RECIPIENTS OF ITS ANNUAL TALENT SUPPORT SCHEMES INCLUDING BFC NEWGEN IN PARTNERSHIP WITH PULL&BEAR

The British Fashion Council (BFC) is pleased to announce the impact of the BFC Foundation and the recipients and shortlist of its annual talent support schemes; BFC NEWGEN in partnership with Pull&Bear, BFC/Vogue Designer Fashion Fund, BFC/GQ Designer Fashion Fund and BFC Fashion Trust. The BFC Foundation supports the future growth and success of the British fashion industry by focusing on education, grant-giving and business mentoring. 

In the financial year 2024/25, the BFC Foundation remitted £1.2 million towards its annual talent schemes. In addition, more than £270,000 was distributed to designers via commercial collaborations secured by the BFC. The charity continues to increase its grant-giving and support for designers each year, the funds are distributed via the BFC Foundation initiatives, scholarships for students and Saturday Clubs. Since September 2024, the BFC Foundation has committed to LONDON show ROOMS, which provides crucial commercial opportunities for designers.

BFC NEWGEN IN PARTNERSHIP WITH PULL&BEAR  

BFC NEWGEN in partnership with Pull&Bear is the most established showcasing and support scheme globally. The initiative supports the very best emerging talent and aims to build global, high-end fashion brands of the future. Designers are identified by their creativity, strong design aesthetic and point of difference. The 2025/26 recipients are: (*New recipients for 2025/26)

BFC/VOGUE DESIGNER FASHION FUND 

The BFC/Vogue Designer Fashion Fund (BFC/VDFF) celebrates exceptional talent and creativity and empowers business growth through bespoke high-level mentoring and professional services, and a cash prize of £150,000 to support the winner’s growth and contribution to the British and global fashion ecosystem. The winner for 2025 is:

BFC/GQ DESIGNER FASHION FUND 

The BFC/GQ Designer Fashion Fund (BFC/GQDFF) provides the winner with a cash prize of £100,000 to support business growth and the winner’s contribution to the British and global fashion ecosystem, as well as pro-bono bespoke high-level business mentoring and professional services. The shortlisted designers for 2025 are:

BFC FASHION TRUST 

Currently in its 15th year, the BFC Fashion Trust empowers positive business growth through financial grants and mentoring. Grant money relates to a defined project that will be delivered within a set period. All recipients demonstrated how their project aligns to their broader business growth vision and shows a clear return on investment. BFC Fashion Trust is open to all ready-to-wear collections and/or accessories. The recipients are:
