This year’s Cardiff school of art and design graduating cohort presents a multidisciplinary body of work grounded in material exploration, cultural heritage, and emerging technologies. Our graduates interrogate fashion’s role through sustainable practices, critical storytelling, and design that foregrounds process as much as outcome. Projects span digital craft, textile innovation, and wearable interventions, often challenging dominant fashion narratives through decentred, individual expressions. While rooted in local and regional context, the work speaks globally, offering alternative futures through rigorous research and thoughtful making. Together, the cohort reflects a bold, critical, and materially fluent generation of designers shaping new systems of value and meaning in fashion.
