London-based womenswear designer of Croatian-Montenegrin descent, Petra Minjevic, explores asymmetry, flow & light/shadow within the context of contemporary RTW through her expertise in creative pattern cutting, achieving asymmetry & flow by creating continuous seam lines that echo across garments, often starting at the back & coming around the body. Through fineness of details & analysis of how light works through the fabric, she explores the balance between delicacy, transparency & solid form.
