Life's A Joke

Location: London, United Kingdom
University/College: Kingston School of Art Specialisms: Knitwear
KSA Fashion graduate, specialising in Knit, Textile, Print and digital design (Clo3D). I specialised early in my degree and in my Erasmus year at Amsterdam Fashion Institute developed my skills in digital fashion design. Knit and textiles has always been a starting point for my projects and starting with samples and being able to translate these into garments has elevated my designs. This is why I developed a technique that means all my seams are part of the design. I first delved into my love for knitwear in my foundation degree where I created textiles from recycled jumpers however started to focus on textiles in the first year of my degree. Currently I have just finished working on my final collection ‘Life’s a Joke’ which has pushed my abilities with a large part of this project being created from home so I had a lot of new obstacles I had to overcome.
