Stroboscopic

From a young age I’ve always loved fantasy, escapism, and other worlds. Always burying myself in any fantasy novels or movies I could get my hands on. My work directly stems from this fascination with fantasy, with otherworldly elements at its core, creating the escapism I crave in real life through my designs. I enjoy in-depth research and experimentation through toiling and sampling, refining down my more outrageous concepts and ideas into clean cut, wearable garments that contain subtle elements linking back to the more extreme beginnings of my research and imagination. Through my graduate collection I was able to focus directly on the idea of moving through to a different dimension. Using my own photographs to create printed artworks and interesting shapes through the garment designs, to create an ethereal, mysterious collection, I hope that it will allow people to see a different, more exciting world, than that in which we currently reside.
