In our patriarchal society, women’s sole functions are regarded as mothering. In my collection, I will explore the whitewashed mother-daughter relationship and decipher the ties, desire, and love of women to mothers through fashion design practices. I wish my design could encourage both mothers and daughters to be independent individuals so that they will not lose the real relationship between two separate-whole women.
