Energetic Energy

I am originally from Hong Kong, is the only daughter of the Feng Shui expert and fortune teller father and the mother of the very energetic boy. I am inspired by watching my father dress up in a suit to any formal occasions in creating a more confident, mature and professional first impression to fit into the status quo of society. A series of expressive and energetic paintings drawn by my son, Morrissey, gave me impactful inspiration too. The colours he chooses from the limited colour palette along the way he draws on the restricted area are bright. I attempted to change the usual woven fabric for tailored suits to knitted fabric in order to make them more contemporary and flexible. I try to imitate Morrissey`s expressive paintings with intarsia too.
