Nostalgia - The collection aim to capture the body poses of my parent’s old images. The way they close up their arms and legs, twisting them into the idea of hugging. Warmth, tightness and bonding. Contemporary dances was the major influence during development, since I found that hugging and their dance poses has similar body shapes and subtle tension. The project also sends a message to the community during this pandemic now, how powerful and valuable one hug is.
