Ada Xuanpei Wang

Ada Xuanpei Wang is a womenswear designer focusing on handicrafts and textiles. After her grandpa died in the COVID pandemic, she explored the old house they used to live together in her childhood and drew the loquat tree grown by her grandpa as a symbol of himself. The collection takes the rounded shape of the loquat fruits as well as the arms when the families hug. Leaves appear as prints or cut-outs and each piece is given the emotion she feels with her memories of family, warmth and love.
