ARE YOU READY DARLING?

My name is Fraser Burnside, a final year student at Ravensbourne University, where I study Fashion (menswear). My graduate collection offers a tongue-in-cheek interpretation of a British public-school boy. Drawing on extensive research and personal experiences, I have developed a collection which captures the public-school spirit in a refreshingly satirical lens. The collection exposes ridiculous characters for who they really are, in an environment which takes itself too seriously. The collection’s ethos revolves around themes regarding the mainstream perception of education, aristocratic behaviour, British humour, tradition and silver spoon service as well as my own personal Scottish heritage. In my final term, I opened a new chapter as Product Development Assistant at Erdem.
