From the blue of the sky, to the black of the night

For my final fashion design graduate collection, I have combined traditional tailoring methods with 3D digital fashion design construction and pattern making. Depending on software programs such as CLO 3D and Blender, I took a step forward on sustainability by reducing the amount of physical prototype production and the use of materials. I designed and produced a fashion collection and its metal accessories, both digitally and physically. This collection outlines my own experiences over the past years, through frequent travels, longing, bliss, fear, and nostalgia and allowed me for a personal form of expression. Throughout the last three years, I understood the value of creating a home environment that reflects identity. Fashion is a language that allows for a personal form of expression. Garments that make you look confident should feel confident. Inspired by Power Dressing - a term shaped in the 20th Century, by a great designer Thierry Mugler and above all - by myself.
