LFW Designer Applications

The London Fashion Week digital platform merges menswear and womenswear, giving designers greater flexibility. The platform is for both trade and consumer audiences; embracing the cultural commentary, creativity and humorous spirit for which British fashion and London are known for.   • Applicants should be over one year in business
  • Collections should consist of women’s/men's ready-to-wear or accessories, not bridalwear or childrenswear
  • Applicants must have a minimum of six stockists, including UK and international (not including own store/e-commerce) or sell solely direct to consumer. Direct-to-Consumer brands can apply for digital schedule activations only.
  • If you already show on the LFW/LFWM schedule, you do not need to apply again.
  • Applications for next season will open soon and will close on Friday the 20th of November.


  • Applicants are asked to provide two industry-based references; we suggest that a buyer or member of the press is a relevant referee


  • Once an applicant has completed the online form, it will be reviewed and the candidate will be notified by email as to whether the application has been accepted or not
  • Successful applicants will then progress to phase two of the application where they will be reviewed by an e-panel of key industry members. Please do not submit samples unless specifically requested to do so
  • Applicants may be asked to submit additional supporting information, which will be considered alongside the application to reach a final decision


  • An e-panel of judges is selected each season which includes key opinion formers, media, buyers and representatives from the BFC
  • The panel acts in an advisory capacity only. There may be certain cases where the BFC feels a particular applicant may or may not be suitable for London Fashion Week, and the BFC reserves final say



Designers can apply to have a profile page on the new platform with the link below. We encourage designers to take part in innovative ways, showcasing collections or telling brand stories. For example:

Product Launches / Retailing Direct to Consumer / Virtual Showroom / Interviews / Brand Storytelling / Music Collaborations & Playlists / Conversational Content / Behind the Scenes etc.

  • Collections should consist of ready-to-wear (menswear and/or womenswear) or accessories, not bridalwear or childrenswear
  • If you wish to have a schedule listing, you must apply through the Schedule Application above
  • Applications are reviewed by the BFC who reserves final say
  • If you already have a profile on the new platform, you do not need to apply again.
  • If you had a profile on our old LFW platform, please do get in touch to activate this on the new platform
  • Applications for next season will open soon and will close on Friday 8th of January



  • This application is for physical evening event listings only
  • All applicants will be internally reviewed on a case-by-case basis
  • An event will not be listed if it conflicts with the show schedule
  • All events will be listed as commencing half an hour after the final show
  • Applications for next season will open soon and close on Friday 29th of January


  • In line with Government guidelines around social distancing and large-scale events, the BFC will not be hosting a physical venue for LFW February 2020.
