Maxmara Design Competition

MaxMara Womenswear Design Prize in collaboration with the British Fashion Council 2008

The MaxMara Womenswear Design Prize was available to students who attend fashion courses at the Colleges Council member colleges.

This scheme is part of MaxMara’s strategy to promote emergent design talent and offers final year students the chance to win fully paid design placements at the company’s headquarters in Reggio Emilia. The placements are offered for one season following graduation, with the possibility of leading to longer term collaboration.

In addition, there are cash prizes to the winners, and awards made to their colleges in recognition of their contribution to design education in the UK.
