Using fabric, I contour the body to translate it into sculptural garments. Playing with the theme of deconstructing modesty and uneasy reveals of skin I build upon the female form using fabrics which are strongly associated with predetermined gender assumptions. Through unconventional fabric manipulations I question the perception of the censored women. My work examines sensuality in reflection of the female form in hopes to subvert and undermine outdated institutional standards of the body.
