Inspired by the Shanghai Lady Posters in the 1930s featuring women in traditional Chinese dresses (Cheongsam) promoting products for people to buy, focusing on print design with references to a print trend: "Take-away Merch". The cut-out shapes were added to exaggerate characteristics of the Cheongsam. The colour palette is inspired from the film, In The Mood For Love, a film that showcases over 20 different Cheongsam dresses worn by the main actress . The colours are dark, moody and sensual.
