In my work I respect and promote culture, shed a light on the struggles minority groups face and talk about the injustice in the world. My experiences become art after they are distorted through the lens of memory in a brutal, sensual or educative manner. Mutual aid, respect and solidarity are essential values I convey in order to build a better world. My experiences and environment in Cyprus relating to masculinity and identities have become more complex and layered through the years which is why there is an urgent need to search and find the right words to express what I feel and to possibly solve the riddle which expands on a bigger scale. There is urgency to answer the questions of who do I belong to, how am I navigating my life and why is society a burden to mutual self-respect and understanding. The issues we face today vary in depth and strength to wound within each community around the world, nevertheless they need to be addressed, spoken and changed for the wounds to heal.
