Locker Room

The inspiration behind my collection is men’s locker rooms. It is one of the first places where I understood my own sexuality. I have always experienced mixed emotions every time I walked into one, I couldn’t help but feel attracted to the display of strength, the bodies and the heat. At the same time there was the fear of my friends finding out that I was different. This collection is my way to make peace with it and reconquer that space. My work has been influenced by artist like Wolfgang Tillmans, Slava Mogutin and Peter de potter. Some of the concepts that have inspired my collection are masculinity, sexuality and sport.
