A reflection on farms in Zimbabwe, Australia and Scotland all of which have influenced me. Jackie Nickerson’s photo series Farm captures the Zimbabwean agricultural landscape which influenced my approach to this collection. The Driza-Bone riding jacket is an embodiment of the Australian outback, draping with the storm cape to explore silhouette and shape. Whilst in the Scottish Borders the agricultural tools become artefacts, they become ornamental sequins in a functional space.
