DIFFERENCE

My name it’s Eleni, and I am a recent fashion graduate from the University for the Creative Arts. I moved to London from Greece four years ago to study my dream which was fashion, and here I am, I made this dream come true and I couldn’t be more proud for myself. My pre-collection project was inspired by skin conditions such as acne, eczema, rosacea and vitiligo and I was looking the New York based photographer Peter Devito. My aim was to embrace the “different” skin types and make people with skin conditions feel more comfortable in their own skin and that everything is normal. I tried to recreate the patterns of the skin with embroidery beans in order to look like diamonds in the skin. My final collection was inspired by pre and after WWII in Paris.
