As a menswear designer, I delve into unexplored topics. My design goal is to provoke thoughts and ignite meaningful discussions. The narrative holds paramount importance in my work. In my final major collection, I delved into the concept of inherent sadness in individuals. Growing up, I became captivated by the profound sadness present in everyone, discovering underlying beauty within it. Beauty arises from the knowledge that pain is temporary, and the hope and relief we experience when pain subsides. The Greek myth of Sisyphus served as a profound inspiration, representing endless suffering. Philosopher Albert Campus further intrigued me with his interpretation of this tale: "One must imagine Sisyphus happy." Additionally, street photographer Bruce Gilden's work left a lasting impact. His ability to capture raw and unfiltered emotions through photography is unparalleled. The face's power resonates deeply with me and became a prominent element in this collection.
