As a collection, ‘rae’s big fat beach party’ explores my change in mindset following a very difficult medical diagnosis. After a cheesy weekend away at a seaside town I resolved to stop wasting my energy focusing on all the things I could no longer do, and instead enjoy all that I can. This collection embodies the power of having fun to overcome challenging obstacles and I hope that it inspires others to do the same.
