Mary Green is a womenswear designer currently focusing on welcoming her first S/S24 collection 'The Modern Victor/Victoria'. A gender-neutral collection that strives to unpick the view that garments should have an assigned gender. The 'Modern Victor/Victoria, is a range of loungewear that embraces fluid silhouettes for all genders- shown throughout her development process and generation of garments being pictured on both men and women, the collection draws on silhouettes heavily inspired by the Victorian era reimagined with more modern fabrics, textures, and accessories. Headwear and accessories play a large feature within this collection, mainly constructed using crochet and a mixture of textures to achieve a modern approach. In recent years the rise of gender fluidity in fashion has become much more apparent and seen within many modern contemporaries and their approach to brand identity and inclusivity.
