Golden Hour

My collection ‘Golden Hour’ is a fictional based concept. In a time where fear, worry and uncertainty are ubiquitous, this collection represents escapism, a world that is far away from this. A garden party situated in my nan’s garden, where golden hour is the focus, allowing our attention to solely shine on our favourite icons and their garments. In the words of Slim Aarons, ‘Attractive people, doing attractive things, in attractive places’. As an embroidery enthusiast, it was important that my collection displays a love for craftsmanship, consequently being a part of the slow fashion movement.
