My graduate collection titled ‘A Lone Diasporic Identity’ was a testament to being oneself. Drawing inspiration from my own diasporic experience, the collection explores the notions of fitting in through sustainable menswear, and knitwear. The disconnect between my culture and my heritage and the struggles of identity I faced as British-Nepalese became the basis of my research. The collection imbues a sense of longing to be one thing, but not to stray too far from the comfortable and the usual.
